Simon Squibb Exposed: I hate to say it, but there are some serious wrong'uns in our industry who need to be named and shamed. And one of them is the influencer and self-described multi-millionaire, Simon Squibb. He agreed to debate me face-to-face, but guess what? He backed out at the last minute! He didn’t want to be challenged. That tells you everything you need to know! In a recent video on YouTube, I exposed Simon Squibb and showed why you shouldn’t follow his advice when it comes to property.

If you want to see Simon Squibb exposed, I highly recommend watching the full video until the end. You can watch the full video on my YouTube channel, or at the top of this page.

Simon Squibb says a lot of wrong things, but some stand out more than others. In this article, I will bust 3 crazy Simon Squibb property myths! If you want to help your friends and family avoid being misled by Simon Squibb, please consider sharing this Simon Squibb exposed article on social media. Let’s get the facts out there!

1. Simon Squibb Exposed: Everyone Should Rent, But No One Should Be A Landlord!

One claim Simon Squibb makes is that everyone should rent and no one should own. There are certainly a lot of good reasons to rent, and he is right that the service offered by landlords is one that works well for many people. Only one problem, he doesn’t think people should be landlords! How are people going to be tenants without landlords to offer the service?

Despite claiming to be a capitalist, maybe Simon Squibb is a secret communist. Maybe he thinks the state should be the only landlord. But we have seen throughout history what happens when the state takes over people’s lives. If the state owned all the rented accommodation, there would be no competition, leading to a drop in standards. Therefore, the idea of everyone being tenants and no one being landlords is nonsensical!

2. Simon Squibb Exposed: Most Of The Rich Didn’t Make Their Money Via Property… Except Many Did!

Another claim Simon Squibb makes is that most of the ultrarich didn’t make their money via property. In fact, around 25% of The Sunday Times top 100 rich list have property listed as their primary source of wealth. Most of the wealth in this country is stored in property. While, of course, wealth is built in many ways, one of the biggest ways is via property.

Simon’s claim is misleading, because a lot of rich people make money via property, and even more of them store their wealth in property. His claims are designed to put people off property, despite property’s proven track record as a wealth building tool.

3. Simon Squibb Exposed: Property Is A Scam!

The most ridiculous thing Simon Squibb says is that property is a scam! Property is one of mankind’s most proven tools for preserving and building wealth. On average, property prices in this country double every 10 years, while providing cashflow over that time period if you rent them out. If that’s a scam, I would like to know what isn’t a scam!

In reality, Simon is part of the modern trend of people calling everything that they don’t like a scam. This is bad for consumers, as it makes it harder to distinguish between genuine scams and the nonsensical claims of online curmudgeons! Property isn’t a scam, and you can safely ignore anyone making this outlandish of a claim.
