This week on the Samuel Leeds podcast, Amelia asks Samuel some interesting questions about personal branding. Personal brands are so valuable because you can go into a room and people immediately have a connection with you. They know who you are and you don't need to sell yourself. It's an amazing asset to have. When Samuel did his challenge where he had to start from scratch and become financially free, he wasn't allowed his persona. He created a fake character called Lucas Ruby. The interesting thing is that when he was networking under his pseudonym and in his wig, he was building rapport and relationships almost as easily as if he was still Samuel Leeds. Those skills hadn't departed along with his name. He had people contacting him for business and JV's overnight. It just goes to show that it's not so difficult to build a personal brand, if you just try.
If Samuel was starting again, he says he would simply start documenting his life on as many platforms as possible. He would create videos and blogs about his life, the same way Patricia Bright did. Samuel would create content from every interesting action he took and make his videos newsworthy so that the media might be interested. The most important thing is for people to know that you exist because then you can start making money from a service, product or JV. People need to know you in order to trust you and work with you.
